• Lab coats are available in a range of sizes and are Environmental Health and Safety approved.
  • Fasteners such as snaps allow for easy removal in case of contamination.
  • Cuffed sleeves prevent the sleeves from riding and contamination of cuffs during work.
  • Extend from the neck to approximately the knee and cover the full length of the arm.
• Fire retardant lab coats are required for laboratories with pyrophoric chemicals or significant amounts of flammable material.

Laundering

• Apparel laundered in accordance with The Occupational Safety and Health Administration contaminated laundry requirements.
• Check the pockets of coats before sending for cleaning.

Fees and Billing

• Cintas lab coat pricing.
• Rental fees are weekly; however, each unit may establish a frequency for cleaning. 
• Use a Penn State Purchasing Card to pay for rental services.
• Monthly statements are emailed to the billing contact.
